Geoff Funk

My name is Geoff Funk, and I’ve been tattooing for over 30 years. Trained through an old-school apprenticeship, I’ve worked in street shops and custom studios, blending tradition with innovation. I’ve managed and owned my own studio, worked in multiple countries, and since 2017 I’ve been an artist at The Fall, continuing to refine my craft within a strong creative community.

I enjoy tattooing in a wide range of styles, including colour, black and grey, Japanese, traditional, bold design work, and challenging cover-ups. Through years of hands-on experience, I’ve developed a versatility that allows me to adapt each piece to the client and the idea behind it. Most importantly, I focus on creating tattoos that flow naturally with the body and complement its shape. Whether working on large-scale projects or smaller tattoos, my goal is always to produce work that ages well and remains timeless in its appeal. By combining experience with creativity, I strive to give every client a rewarding, confident, and memorable tattoo experience.

Beyond tattooing, I believe in making the most of everything life has to offer right here in British Columbia. I’m happiest when spending quality time with my wonderful wife or exploring the beauty of nature on a long walk. When the Vancouver weather permits, you’ll likely find me gardening, though I’m just as happy simply taking in the incredible surroundings of the city we’re so lucky to call home. Above all, I’m grateful for my wonderful family, including my adult daughter and son-in-law, who make living in this great place even more awesome.
