Individual healing times may vary, but the healing process typically takes about 2 - 3 months. Aftercare is crucial—our expert team recommends rinsing the piercing with saline solution or alcohol-free mouthwash twice daily, avoiding trauma or pressure to the area, and refraining from touching or rotating the jewelry unnecessarily. Some mild swelling, redness, and tenderness are normal during the initial healing period.
