A FASHIONABLE, FRONT-FACING OPTION

A piercing gaining in popularity for its unique appearance and bold styling options, the tragus piercing involves one of our piercers puncturing the small, cartilaginous flap of skin that exists directly in front of your ear canal. That section of your ear is known as the tragus, and our expert team will be happy to advise you on your piercing services.

Cost

The cost of a tragus piercing can vary depending on the type and quality of the jewelry you choose.  Options start at $40 for classic titanium and go up with gold and gemmed options.  The piercing service from one of our APP piercers is $50.

Healing

Individual healing times may vary from person to person, but the tragus-piercing healing process generally takes around 9–12 months. We recommend a comprehensive, consistent aftercare routine during this time—an essential part of the piercing experience that prevents infection and promotes healing. Our piercers advise that you clean the tragus piercing twice daily with a saline solution or mild soap and water, as well as avoid placing any pressure or trauma on the pierced area. Please also refrain from sleeping on the newly pierced ear or unnecessarily touching or rotating your new jewelry.

Placement

Tragus piercings allow for relatively straightforward placements, but our piercers will work directly with you to ensure you’re happy with the area chosen. Normal symptoms following your piercing include mild swelling, redness, and tenderness, so don’t be alarmed if you experience them during the healing process. Seek professional advice if you experience any signs of infection or complications during this time, and feel free to reach out to us with any uncertainty.
