India "Makinucci" was raised between Rome and Ibiza. After graduating at the J.F.Kennedy Liceo in Rome, she later on studied scenography at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona.

These college years left some good memories and inspirations, but nothing touched her as much as discovering a magazine about the tattooing art of Sabine Gaffron: for the first time, Makinucci realised that tattooing was to become a tool to express her own style of art.

Over the following years she travelled through half of the globe, to Switzerland, Denmark, UK, Canada, USA, Macao, Hong Kong, Thailand ,Ireland, etc... growing up as a tattoo artist and working alongside world class artists.

She developed her own unique distinctive style as well in ornamental tattooing as color pieces
