Earlobe Piercing

An earlobe piercing is a common form of body modification where the earlobe is punctured with a sterile needle to insert jewelry. We offer earlobe piercings as one of the basic services in my studio. The procedure involves marking the desired piercing location, cleaning the area, and then using a hollow needle to create a hole through the earlobe. We use high-quality, hypoallergenic jewelry such as titanium and stainless steel for initial piercings.

Cost

In terms of cost, earlobe piercings are $20 for the service and jewelry starts at $30 for titanium and stainless steel options. Prices go up with gold and gemmed options.

Healing

The healing process for an earlobe piercing generally takes about 6 to 8 weeks. During this time, it's essential to keep the piercing clean by gently washing it with saline solution or mild soap and water. It's also important to avoid touching the piercing with dirty hands and to refrain from changing the jewelry until the piercing is fully healed. Some mild swelling, redness, and tenderness are normal during the initial healing period, but if there are any signs of infection such as excessive swelling, pus, or severe pain, it's crucial to seek medical attention promptly.
